Follow new updates and improvements to storekit.

September 6th 2024

  • Austria 🇦🇹 based stores are now supported, including Euro storekit payments accounts

  • Push notifications for Android users on web are now sent to guests who opt-in to notifications as their delivery or pickup order progresses through stages

  • Refund order buttons are now disabled once the order has one or more refunds equal to the order total.

  • Lightspeed K-series Pre-Orders now show the pre-order date time on the ticket for eat in orders

  • All orders now shows the store name to help you manage orders between stores

🐛 Bug fixes

  • Piggy vouchers are now validated again just before the order is created in addition to when the voucher is applied to the basket

  • We’ve added 10 minutes to the driving time to all Orkestro integrated orders, ensuring riders have enough time to pickup and drop off the order

  • In some cases, scanning a new QR code after previously scanning a QR code shortly before would send add to bill orders to the previous table

August 23rd 2024

  • Cancel order for delivery and pickup orders helps manage cancellation requests from customers. Cancel an order to remove the order from live orders and optionally cancel scheduled actions like printing, delivery jobs and POS order injection (if supported).

  • Customer email notifications are now sent from [email protected] if you don’t have a business email (i.e. not @gmail.com, aol.com, etc). This will prevent guests receiving delayed or undeliverable order and payment notification emails

  • Scheduled pre order dates can now be set up to 1 year in the future to help with planning your date specific openings and events

🐛 Bug fixes

  • We allowed customers to apply a discount code without entering any text, this resulted in a confusing error, we now highlight the need to enter the code

  • Exporting orders from the all orders page failed when multiple stores were selected

  • Ensure a valid store phone number has been added before you can enable the Nash integration

August 2nd 2024

  • Gibraltar 🇬🇮 based stores are now supported, including storekit payment accounts

  • Buy X Get Y discounts can now only discount the base product, ignoring any paid modifiers. Get in touch to enable this feature

  • Order CSV exports have been improved to make data manipulation in excel easier

  • Printer status in the dashboard is now realtime, showing the connection status without a page reload

🐛 Bug fixes

  • storekit printer buffers were not working correctly if the same printer had been added to multiple stores with different buffer settings

  • Lightspeed pay at table payments sometimes failed due to a 1p overpayment. We now send this overpayment as a tip

  • Our payment service occasionally failed to display express checkout options like Google & Apple Pay, we now retry until they become available to the guest

July 19th 2024

  • Add to basket URLs allow you to create special links that auto add menu items to the basket. Create links for promoted items, bundles and more.

  • Optional checkout email you can choose to set email address as optional at checkout, so guests would like to receive receipts and marketing can opt-in, but also allow others to checkout without leaving their email

✨ Other recent releases:

  • Reverse loyalty points when refunding an order, we’ll also ask if you’d like to reverse the loyalty transaction to remove the points from the guest balance

  • Opening hours now prevent you from mistakenly setting a close time before your open time. To handle hours open across midnight set your close time to 23:59, and set a day part for the following morning opening at 00:00

  • Feature requests have improved with an easier to use interface an additional questions to help us prioritise your ideas

🐛 Bug fixes

  • If an item was present in two or more different categories, the menu search function was broken

  • The dashboard order view now shows the correct labels set for the store on service charge, gratuity and delivery fee line items

  • Password reset emails sometimes weren’t delivered to the user

July 11th 2024

  • storekit+ users can now view and edit their Smart Review settings to easily update the Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp or Facebook review links

  • Danish Krone and store addresses based in Denmark are now supported. Card payments support will follow shortly 🇩🇰

  • CSV order export now has an option to export orders as one CSV line with a summary of the order details.

  • Delivery driving distance and time is now displayed on the order map card in the dashboard

  • Batched orders now include a dropdown to show the additional orders included in the same batch

  • Add to bill orders now include a quick link to the bill overview page

  • Cancelled deliveries when using an integrated delivery partner are now highlighted to help bring attention to the issue

🐛 Bug fixes

  • The marketing opt-in checkbox now uses the correct colours when custom branding is enabled for the store

  • Exporting orders from the all orders page now formats the pre order date in the correct timezone

  • Review your order is no longer shown as an option on the status page for add-to-bill orders

  • In rare cases, guests were able to view the checkout screen without a table number set unable to place an order

July 4th 2024

  • Pickup instructions for Nash connected stores allows you to enter a custom note displayed to the driver when arriving at your location, recommended if your store is not easily visible from the road.

  • All orders + pre-orders table view has been improved to use the pre-order date when filtering by date and time

🐛 Bug fixes

  • 3rd party analytics integrations have been updated to handle a checkout conversion without an email address

  • Nash minimum vehicle size settings are now honoured correctly

  • In rare cases the discount code input box was not showing despite active discounts available for the store

  • Deliverect integrated stores would sometimes notify the customer the order was “ready for pickup” if the order was a delivery

June 20th 2024

We’re released much better visibility into your slot capacities when changing a pre-order’s slot. You can now see the number of orders, the total spent and total items ordered during the slot. If it’s full, we’ll display it and won’t prevent you moving an order into a full slot!

storekit discounting is pretty flexible but how we display discounts to the user hasn’t always matched. We’ve made improvements to both desktop and mobile views to highlight the saving guests are making as they go through the order process.

  • Order accepted time is now recorded, we’ll add functionality to analyse time to accepted in a future release

  • Refunded orders are now more obvious when viewing the all orders screen, with a red strikethrough the total paid, and a payments info dropdown on click 💷

  • Archived orders are now included when viewing the customer record screen, we’ve also added a way to un-archive an order from the order screen

  • Pay at table open bills are now fetched when guests open storekit directly on the menu screen, allowing you to direct customers straight to the menu instead of the bill overview screen.

  • Pay at table stores are now “no-indexed” from Google and other search engines to prevent them showing up in search results

🐛 Bug fixes

  • Scheduling banners for days of the week was not always working correctly

June 13th 2024

  • Hide category navigation clean up the menu navigation by removing some categories from the top nav bar, categories will still be visible by scrolling the menu

  • Duplicate products faster menu creation with the new product duplication feature. When clicking add new product you can choose from a blank slate or copy values from an existing product, including it’s modifier groups.

  • Check address zone in the new delivery zone UI you can check which zone a particular address will fall into, if any.

  • Transaction reports have been sped up 10x for accounts with multiple 000’s of payment transactions per month

  • All orders now removes orders in the “Delivered“ or “Ready for Pickup“ status when the show completed orders toggle is turned off

🐛 Bug fixes

  • Auto applied discounts would sometimes not apply during the correct day parts

  • Very long order prep times, e.g. 12 hours would break the available slot calculations for the current day

May 30th 2024

  • Confirm removing products before guests can reduce the quantity of a product to 0 in the basket

  • Modifier prices now only show the + sign before the modifier price if the base product has a price greater than 0. We think this is a better way to display products like 0 priced prints and positive priced modifiers with half, pint options

  • Custom loyalty scheme names use your custom “unit name” in the customer facing app

  • Deliverect IDs are now stored alongside the POS receipt ID given to us by Deliverect, these values are available in the API, webhooks and custom reporting
